I recently gave myself the gift of a handheld recording device so as to be able to record more ideas and any golden moments that may come about within any given improv so i can revisit them later and compose more organized songs from the pieces of such sewn together sound. I was in the process of doing just this with another song I've been working on from a previous raw improv but became frustrated at not being able to get a decent take so instead I decided to give that song a break and just do a little simple strum upon my uke and heartstrings. I liked what i came up with albeit it not being the most structured or organized piece and decided to edit it and add a few effects and haunts and upload it to at least satisfy my need to share something new after a very long and arduous creative block no matter how simplistic it may be.
Within this haunt i liken myself, my heart and my soul to a structure that is too broken down and too far gone to ever be repaired or revitalized and thus is it is decided it is time to close up shop and consider it condemned.
After all, i'm sure y'all know by now how i feel about abandoned buildings and how much i love to use them as both muses and metaphors.
Alas...
//rust to dust and we all fall down//
enjoi.

((Just take what you will and leave what you won't. This was just a lil evening haunt and improv to get some shit out between takes of another song I've been working on.))
